Stewart Holden
Stewart joined Livesey Service Station in 1997 as a Car Salesman, by 1999 the company branched out in to the motorcycle market.
With fast growth within the company, they soon outgrew the premises and in 2003 moved into a purpose built showroom on Whitebirk Drive and Rocket Centre had begun.
Stewart became General Manager in 2006 where he flourished in this role and built great customer relationships. He worked with some of the most specialised staff in the industry and shared their experiences, knowledge and contacts. In February 2017 it was announced that the Managing Director was retiring and the shop was to close.
After the initial shock and some thought, the decision was made – Stewart felt like he had some loyal customers from Rocket Centre, great friends and lots of support from market leading brands so MC-Hub was born!
With an ideal premises opportunity just off the M65, staff were keen and ready to jump on board with this new and exciting adventure! The new site would also mean Rocket Fuel could be relocated to add the advantage of great food on site.
Stewart approached 3 key members of Rocket Centre Staff and the rest is history……
Jonny Sahami
Jonny joined Rocket Centre in 2005 as part of the clothing team, he was a loyal and dedicated team player who took pride in his work and was rewarded with the Assistant Managers Role at Rocket Centre.
Jonny has a vast knowledge of clothing, helmets and accessories so the customer can feel assured they are getting exactly what they need. He has a great, approachable personality which makes customers feel at ease straight away.
Having undergone training from Industry market leaders and is Pro- Shop trained with Arai Europe, we were very excited to welcome Jonny to the team.
Susan Brown
Susan worked for her father (the Great Doug Hacking) from the age of 14 with major brands such as Kawasaki, CCM, Triumph, BMW and Peugeot.
Susan then joined Rocket Centre in 2011 as Off Road & Parts Manager and worked with franchises such as KTM, Honda, Suzuki and Aprilia.
Susan has extensive knowledge and experience working in Off Road and Parts, she is somewhat an asset to our team, so we were delighted when she agreed to jump on board.
Marie Bretherton
Marie ran the off site Cafe at Rocket Centre from 2011 – Rocket Fuel.
So we are very excited to have now relocated the Cafe. We have changed its name, so Grub @ The Hub will be happy to serve our customers with drinks and a tasty bite.
